Company of Giants is a Whangārei-based theatre collective creating original, vibrant, and thought-provoking performance works. Rooted in our local community, we craft theatre that excites, challenges, and celebrates both makers and audiences. Our work spans intimate productions to large-scale community collaborations, integrating professional and non-professional artists to foster a rich, inclusive arts ecosystem.
We create performances for all ages, offering shared experiences that connect children, families, and adults. Beyond the stage, we use theatre practice to build community, develop leadership, and activate unexpected spaces, ensuring that professional performance thrives in Northland. Through long-term collaborations and innovative storytelling, Company of Giants is dedicated to growing a professional performing arts landscape in Te Tai Tokerau, with our core members actively contributing to organisations such as ONEONESIX and the Whangārei Fringe Festival.
